To have a good team, you have to have players who are coachable, and are willing to take constructive criticism along with praise. For the Knoxville Volleyball Squad this season it is a step farther as the players will do their own coaching. Junior player Brittany Bacorn tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it is about holding each other accountable and being willing to give and take criticism when needed.

Bacorn: “We don’t want to take it personally, it’s not about that. We can say if you go there you get points. It’s just as much our team as it is Mollie’s team, and we love to coach each other and that makes it more fun.”

The Panthers will spend the better part of the upcoming week preparing for a big match on Tuesday against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. Knoxville is currently 6-3 and 1-1 in the South Central Conference. Find an interview with Bacorn and Ella Breazeale on kniakrls.com that aired on this week’s Radio Sports Page Wednesday at 6:00 and Thursday at 10:00.
