While the Pella Christian/PCM football rivalry is set to renew on the gridiron on Eagle Lane Friday, fans from both teams are coming together to support a Prairie City resident and PC student in recovery from a serious swimming accident this summer.

A Cash & Cards fundraiser is being held, with everyone coming to the game Friday asked to bring $1 or more, or a gift card. There will be volunteers at the gate to collect donations. Handwritten notes are also encouraged and a video station will be on site to record a message for Ryan Natelborg, a Pella Christian junior and state track and cross country qualifier who was severely injured while swimming on July 30th.

Natelborg was featured last week on the Jeromy Dingeman Concrete Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show and this week’s Radio Sports Page.

Fans are also encouraged to bring and wear their “Warrior” Ryan t-shirts if they have one or the color blue.
