Many Hands for Haiti has been supporting people living on the island country for nearly 15 years, and while the work of the ministry continues to grow, the political and economic status outside of their campus is dire.
Executive Leader Tim Brand says Haiti remains unstable due to what has been over a year of violence since its most recent president was assassinated, and headwinds in terms of the value of its currency and other economic issues has created concern over daily life.
However, Brand says in the region Many Hands for Haiti operates, they’ve continued to grow their operation and the amount of families and children they serve and work to lift out of poverty, and he remains hopeful they can find a better future.
Many Hands for Haiti is holding its annual Pignon in Pella fundraiser this evening.
