The city of Knoxville has installed some new speed limit signs on Willetts Drive. The speed limit has been reduced on Willetts Drive from Pleasant to Howard. The new speed limit is 25 miles per hour.
The speed limit has been reduced as an increase in traffic is expected on Willetts with the opening of the new Knoxville Middle School in early October.
The speed limit on the gravel road on Willetts Drive will remain at 30 miles per hour.
