The Norwalk boys golf team will play its sixth meet of the season Monday, competing in the Turk Bowman Invitational at Veenker Memorial Golf Course in Ames. The 18-team tournament is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m.

The Warriors secured their best finish of the season at last Tuesday’s Ottumwa Invite, placing second out of seven teams. They have also placed fourth at Ankeny Centennial, eighth at Johnston, seventh at Fort Dodge, and fifth at the Waukee Northwest Invitational in Norwalk.

Senior Cael Sherwood currently leads Norwalk with an 18-hole average of 79.6, closely followed by senior Braden Nicholson with an 80.0 average and sophomore Grady Sigrist 80.2.
