The rout was on Friday night in Monroe, as the PCM football team dominated the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets on Homecoming, 42-7 in a game heard live on the KRLS3 stream.

The Mustangs’ defense was lights out all night long holding Iowa Falls-Alden to just 111 total yards of offense, with 20 of those yards coming on the final possession of the game. On the other hand, the PCM offense couldn’t be stopped as they racked up six touchdowns on 383 yards.

Sophomore running back Adrian Robbins recorded 155 yards rushing with touchdowns of 1, 2, and 20 yards. Gavin Van Gorp added a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown to Jacob Wendt, while Homecoming King William Vanderpool also punched in a rushing touchdown. 

PCM improved to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in Class 2A District 7 play and will look make it 2-0 in district action next week on the road at Albia.
