A tornado watch has been issued for all of South Central Iowa until midnight. Conditions are favorable for the development of strong thunderstorms capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes. The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air for any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning for any portion of Marion and Warren Counties.
