Pella High School invites the community to celebrate several home events remaining this weekend for homecoming.

The Dutch football team hosts Newton, with freshman competition starting at 4:45 Friday afternoon, followed by the varsity at 7:30 p.m. — a game that will feature four of the current homecoming court members, including King Kenson Fuller, who is excited to see a big crowd.

Fuller is also a member of the Marching Dutch, who perform at halftime of the homecoming game and at the end of their home Marching Dutch Invitational Saturday evening. Queen Jasmine Namminga is a big fan of the band, and hopes the community will continue their support of their home performances.

Hear from Namminga and Fuller on the Let’s Talk Pella podcast and on the pregame show for this week’s football coverage that begins at 6:30 p.m. on the KRLS2 stream and Pella Dutch Live YouTube channel.
