The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The board approved a Class C Native Wine License for Thunder Creek Winery and a Class C Liquor License Renewal for  The Gathering Grounds.

The board discussed Craig Kelley’s proposed downtown Knoxville Statue Project and took no action. Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian presented information about the proposed Junction 92 shop, and the board  approved a 59% down payment on the $8.5 million project and directed Christian to move the project forward.

The board also received an update on the Marion County Public Health Department given reorganization of Public Health and the Department.
