Near the end of this week’s Pella School Board meeting, questions were drafted for those running for the two seats representing the Pella Community School District. Those candidates for the two open spots in November are invited to the next Pella School Board meeting on October 10th for an annual legislative forum, according to Superintendent Greg Ebeling. He says each year, the board has a public back-and-forth with lawmakers for a direct dialogue to establish priorities for the local district and to advocate for changes in the Iowa Legislature. Ebeling says the public is invited to attend, but the session is meant for the board to ask questions, not residents.
