While the Dutch and Saints have played among the toughest schedules of any 4A team, those have not been roadblocks for the current favorites to win it allA — Xavier has had the 2nd best scoring defense in Class 4A (5.6 points per game allowed) against the 2nd toughest slate of games, according to power rankings site BCMoore. Meanwhile, the Dutch are trying to find their footing after a heartbreaking Homecoming loss to Newton after giving up a late lead to the Cardinals.
