Indianola residents who are looking for flowers and foliage this fall can help prepare Buxton Park for winter next Saturday. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News attendees can join city Horticulturist Angie Buchanan at Buxton Park to harvest plants before the beds are cleaned out for the winter months. No registration is necessary, however attendees should bring hand shears or pruners, and a container with water to hold the blooms. The Buxton Bouquets event will take place on Saturday, October 8th from 10-11am.
