The Pleasantville volleyball team ended regular season West Central Conference play Tuesday with their Senior Night match against Earlham and fell 3-1.
Pleasantville got out to a strong start in the match by winning the opening set 25-17, before Earlham responded to take the second set 25-19. The Cardinals would then take the upper hand in the match with a 25-17 win of their own in the third set. The Trojans would battle back to try and send the match to the fifth set, but Earlham would outlast them in extra points to take the fourth set 27-25.
Pleasantville will conclude their regular season this weekend at the Martensdale St. Mary’s Tournament this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
