Roland-Story knocked off the PCM Mustangs in varsity volleyball action Thursday 25-13, 25-19, 25-22. It marked the third time the Mustangs have faced Roland-Story this year.
PCM Coach Sarah DeVries tells KNIA/KRLS News, “We’ve improved our play each time we have played them. We will always meet teams that are bigger and stronger that us, but my goal is for our girls to push themselves to play better and we did.”
Each set PCM scored more points. Individual leaders for PCM Thursday were Elaina Buswell with seven assists and Sidney Shaver with six. Reese Palm had five kills, Addison Steenhoek and Elle Davis each had four. Steenhoek was the defensive leader with nine digs.
PCM will be in action again October 13 at home against South Hamilton at 7:30 p.m.
