The 39th Annual Pierce’s Pumpkin Patch Festival is slated for October 8th and 9th at Joy and John Pierce’s Farm located 11.5 miles south of Knoxville on Highway 14. There is no admission for the festival.
The Pierce family has been selling pumpkins for 42 years. Hours for the store are from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. You will find halloween costumes and much more at the store.
John Pierce explains what you will find at the festival in addition to pumpkins, gords, squash and Indian corn, “We have a hay bale maze. It’s got animals in it. There are goats, chickens, ducks and a donkey.”
According to Pierce the festival is fun for all.
