Maybe this is the week, finally, Twin Cedars gets its first football win of the season. The Sabers take on Woodward Academy tonight, who is also 0-5 and has not had a lot of success on the field. Like Twin Cedars, the Knights have struggled to find an offense at times and have struggled to stop their opponents. Sabers Coach Cam Parker tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the defense must be ready for anything tonight.

Parker: “Getting into their backpedal earlier. If they’re even they’re leaving. just get into their padbedals a little quicker and clean up tackling.”

Last year’s game with Woodward was forfeited to Twin Cedars due to a COVID outbreak at Woodward Academy that forced the Knights to shut things down. Kick off is scheduled for 7:00.
