The State Historical Society will be bringing a mobile bus to Knoxville Friday, October 21st through Wednesday, October 26th. The bus will be open each day during that time with the exception of Sunday. The bus will be open at 10 a.m. each of those days.

The bus is called Iowa History 101 and it is filled with items about Iowa.

Knoxville Public Librarian Rosalin Thompson explains what people can see on the bus, “It’s a wonderful bus full of artifacts about the people and places of Iowa.”

The mobile bus is called History on the Move. There will be plenty of history to learn about  Iowa’s past from Native Americans who first settled here to an astronaut who flew into space.
