The Pella City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission are holding a joint work session Tuesday. The special meeting includes an extensive discussion of Planning and Zoning staff goals and priorities. The work session includes an overview of projects processed by the department in the past three years, a kick off to the process of updating the city’s Comprehensive Plan — which was last updated in 2014, and discussion of proposed updates to both the City of Pella’s zoning and subdivision codes. The special joint work session of the Pella City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
