With Monday night’s match, the Little Hawkeye Conference tournament, and a Saturday tournament left on the schedule, the Pella Christian and Norwalk volleyball teams kick-off a busy final week of the regular season on Eagle Lane.
The Eagles are looking for a bounce back after falling in their last two matches on the heels of winning 12 straight. With the conference tournament coming up on Thursday, Pella Christian is currently in a three-way tie for fourth place with Pella and Oskaloosa. An Eagles win would give them the inside track for the fourth seed in the conference tournament on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the visiting Warriors squad has a chance to clinch at least a share of the Little Hawkeye regular season title. Norwalk is tied with Indianola for first place in the conference, after the Indians handed them their first loss in conference play this season. While a win would clinch a share of the regular season title, it would also guarantee the Warriors one of the top two spots at the conference tournament Thursday.
The Norwalk at Pella Christian conference volleyball match begins at 7:30 p.m. on Monday night.
