PCM and Roland-Story knock heads tonight to end the 2022 regular season on the gridiron. The two Class 2A District 7 foes will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. in Monroe.

There is a lot on the line as the winner is expected to get a first-round playoff game at home. The loser is expected to make the playoffs, but play on the road in the first round of the post season, PCM and Roland-Story enter the game with identical records of 4-3 overall and 3-1 in the district.

PCM head coach Greg Bonnett tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, “We have it mapped out. If we win we’ll get to play at home in the first round of the playoffs.”

Both teams like to run the ball. Coach Bonnett feels one of the keys to the game is to play sound defense and to not give up the big play.

Adrien Robbins leads the PCM rushing attack with 584 rushing yards for the year and six touchdowns.

Roland-Story counters with Jonovan Wilkinson, who leads the Norsemen with 745 yards rushing and seven touchdowns.

Roland-Story is coming off a 41-7 loss to West Marshall last week. PCM beat the Chariton Chargers last week 42-7.

August Stock of PCM is being featured tonight on the Jeromy Dingeman Concrete Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show.
