The Indianola girls swimming team will wrap up their regular season tonight, hosting the Little Hawkeye Conference meet at the Indianola YMCA. The Indians are currently rated as 31st in the state, ahead of Oskaloosa and Grinnell but behind the #16 Newton Aquagirls, and will have to try and overcome Newton after the Indians came in second in the Grinnell meet in early September that featured the conference teams except Oskaloosa.
Senior Julian Bacon tells KNIA Sports she is still looking for the squad to peak, get several relays and individuals to the state meet, continue to build the team culture, and break some school records.
Swimming begins at 5:30pm.
