U.S. Congresswoman Marianette Miller-Meeks was in Pella and Indianola on Monday. Miller-Meeks is on her 20-county tour of the district, discussing both congressional work and the approaching November election at the Pella Opera House in the morning and at Salem Connection in the afternoon. Miller-Meeks says the concerns she’s hearing the most is the increase in cost of living and inflation. She’ll be stopping throughout the district over the next few weeks ahead of Tuesday, November 8th, and she’s running against Christina Bohannon in the new U.S. Congressional District that will include Marion and Warren Counties.
