Newly ranked in the final Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union poll, the #13 in 4A Pella volleyball team (18-13 overall, 3-4 in LHC) welcomes Newton (7-21, 1-6 conference) to open the Region 5 playoffs.

The Dutch and Cardinals met at the same gym back on September 6th, with Pella sweeping the matchup (27-25, 25-20, 25-19) in the second week of Little Hawkeye Conference competition.

Newton is paced by Kadance Ahn, who was 4th in the league in total kills (284) and was 2nd in kills per set (3.9).

Regional playoff action begins at 7 p.m. this evening at Pella High School, and will be streamed on Pella Dutch Live. Tickets must be purchased online.
