The Knoxville Freedom for Youth Center opened in June 2016 and they offer the following after school  programs currently: Whiz-Kidz (K-5th grade), Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 3:30-5:30 p.m. The Discovery program is for the older youth, (6th-12 grade) and is held Mondays, 5:30-7:30 pm and Tuesday from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Freedom for Youth has a special event coming up this Saturday where they partner with New Covenant Church at the church for a Kidz Blast program that runs from 9 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The program is for 4-year olds through fifth graders.

Angie Gentry, a coordinator for Freedom for Youth said the Saturday event will include doing a craft, a bible lesson and playing games.
