Producers and farmers in Warren County are eligible for the Livestock Forage Disaster Program benefits due to the recent dry conditions. Producers can receive benefits on small grain, native pasture, improved pasture, annual ryegrass, and forage sorghum. The Livestock Forage Disaster Program provides compensation if you suffer grazing losses for covered livestock due to drought on privately owned or cash leased land, and the losses must have occurred during the normal grazing period, from April 15th through October 15th.
