twin-cedars-melcher-dallas-showdown-rivalry

Tonight is the final game of the football season for Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars Football Squads. The Saints will host Lamoni to cap off the season where the Saints did not qualify for the playoffs. Teams who do not make the playoffs can schedule a game at the end of the season provided they play on Thursday. Saints Coach Pat Ferguson tells KNIA Sports…he hopes some of his players are healthy enough to play after taking some injuries in last week’s loss to B-G-M…

(Ferguson “…last game.”) :20

The Saints are three-and-five on the season while the Demons are one-and-seven but put up 24 points on Southeast Warren in a loss last week. Ferguson is wary of the Demons and hopes his team can end the season with a win. Kick off from Melcher-Dallas is set for seven. Twin Cedars, meanwhile, will be playing its final game of the season tonight as the Sabers will host Seymour. Both teams have struggled to get going on offense or defense, but Sabers Coach Cam Parker is confident his team can end the season with a win to take momentum into the offseason. The Sabers are 1-8 on the season while the Warriors are winless in eight games this season. Kick off is scheduled for 7:00.
