Several area athletes and teams are heading to Fort Dodge next week for the Iowa High School State Cross Country meets.

The following local teams are among the top 15 in their respective classes and will race for a state title next week:
Pella – #1 Boys and #2 Girls, Class 3A
Pella Christian – #9 Boys and #11 Girls, Class 2A
Norwalk – #2 Boys

The following individuals have qualified for the state meet:

Knoxville’s Isaac Rankin
Indianola’s Gracie Foster and Emily Naughton (Naughton 4x qualifier)
Norwalk’s Breelie Mauro (4x qualifier)
Twin Cedars’ Rylee Dunkin (4x qualifier)
PCM’s Abi Teeter

Class 1A and 2A athletes and teams will run at Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge on Friday, October 28th, and the 3A and 4A qualifiers compete on Saturday the 29th.
