The Knoxville Football Squad has the unenviable task of playing the top rated football squad in class 3A and one of the best teams in the entire state regardless of class. The Panthers will travel to Harlan for the season wrap up of the 2022 campaign. While the goal is always to win the Panthers know this will take a monumental effort and likely a little help from the Cyclones to pull off the upset. Regardless, Knoxville will line up against the top rated Cyclones looking to end the season on a somewhat positive note no matter the score. Head Coach Matt Dunkin tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he wants to see more consistency from the defense, something that the Panthers were doing in the early part of the season.

Dunkin: “Our biggest thing last Friday was being consistent with getting all 11 guys to the ball, and we had some good hustle plays last week, but just getting back to the consistency we had and getting all 11 guy to the ball like we did early in the season.”

Brenden Woolsey will get his 2nd start at quarterback subbing for the injured Noah Keefer. Dunkin adds Woolsey handled himself well against ADM. He was 13/25 for 119 yards. Harlan is led by Teagon Kasperbauer, who has passed for 1,689 yards and 26 touchdowns to only two interceptions. Listen for the call on 95.3 KNIA beginning at 6:30 with the kick off at 7:00.
