The Indianola City Council received a presentation regarding the Capital Improvement Plan at their most recent meeting Monday. City Manager Ben Reeves tells KNIA News the Capital Improvement Plan discusses the major projects the city will need to accomplish in the future, while maintaining good financial standing.
“We definitely want to encourage the public to go and view the presentation in the study session, there is a lot of information there about the infrastructure needs of our community and how we plan to fund those in the years ahead. Assistant City Manager Andy Lent gave a great presentation reviewing all the different needs, everything from the resurfacing of roads, the paving of K Street, to our sewer treatment plant that is coming online soon. A lot of great information is shared there, ensuring that we can meet the demands of the future even in inflationary times.”
