After the high of 86 Saturday broke a record high of 85 dating back to 1899 in Marion County, more warmth and wind will dominate Sunday. According to the National Weather Service, highs will once again approach the mid 80s this afternoon, with sustained winds between 20-25 MPH and gusts as high as 40 likely. The fire danger will be elevated again this afternoon, as several local fire departments responded to multiple grass fires over the past few days as well. Another transition of weather is expected early Monday morning, with rain possible by the afternoon on Monday and much cooler conditions settling in by Tuesday. Windy conditions are expected to continue for the next few days as well.
