The Indianola Community Youth Foundation held the third annual Trunk or Treat event Saturday at the Indianola Stadium parking lot, with dozens of trunks handing out candy to hundreds of participants. ICYF Executive Director Taylor Litchkey tells KNIA News she appreciates the support every year as the event continues to grow bigger and bigger.

“It’s just amazing to see what they come up with when they join us, you never know what the theme is going to be or what they are going to hand out. I think someone was even handing out hot chocolate and marshmallows, and even lemonade. It’s just really fun to be able to partner with all these organizations and businesses to be able to host a great event.”
