The Marion County Sheriff’s Office seized a vehicle believed to be involved in a hit and run accident Saturday. The hit and run involved a motor vehicle and a bicyclist east of Knoxville near the intersection of N Godfrey and T15 around 9:00 a.m.

Multiple search warrants were obtained and served on the vehicle involved, multiple electronics, and a residence connected with the owner of the vehicle and members of that residence.

Local and State Investigators are waiting for information to be returned to their offices and multiple charges are forthcoming against the driver. The Sheriff’s Department is appreciative of the public’s assistance with this matter and encourages any other information to be provided to law enforcement that the public may have.
