| The City of Pleasantville will be hosting a new event this year on Saturday, November 26. The event is called Christmas on the Square.
Plans call for doing a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. and Carriage Rides will be from 4 to 7 p.m. that day. It’s a group effort to put the event on for the first annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Carriage Rides. Payton Sheets, a member of the Pleasantville Betterment organization tells KNIA/KRLS News about the occasion, “This is an event we created to bring some Christmas joy to Pleasantville on November 26. There will be a carriage ride and a Christmas lighting ceremony. This was all put together by the City of Pleasantville, the Pleasantville Betterment Organization, the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce and some other members of Pleasantville.” The group was given some lights and the City of Pleasantville bought some extra lights for the event. |
