The Knoxville City Council met in a special meeting Monday. The council approved a site plan for Ridge Development for two parcels on W. Bell Avenue. The new construction will be for a  sprint car race shop and contractor workshops adjacent to Raceway Tire and Exhaust.

Knoxville City Manager Heather Ussery says, “This was overall a discussion of the site plans for those buildings, to move forward with building permits.”

The council also approved a site plan for C & O Real Estate LLC for a new dental office building on W. Bell Avenue.
