For the 4th time in her amazing career, Twin Cedars runner Rylee Dunkin will go for a 4th all-state at the class 1A girls cross country meet today at Fort Dodge. Dunkin knows this will be her last chance to run at State. While still going for a 4th all-state, she also will make sure to enjoy the moment, something she knows is coming to an end.
Dunkin: “My goal definitely is to get into the top 15, but if that doesn’t happen it’s still a great honor to compete with some of the greatest runners in the state. I’m going to take it in and have fun, and time is going fast and soon I won’t be able to wear that Twin Cedars jersey.”
Dunkin has been about the team and what is on the front of the jersey as opposed to the name on the back. She adds all of the hard work before and during the season has paid off.
