The Indianola Girls Rugby Club advanced to the semifinals at the State Tournament Sunday, after a first round win.

Indianola qualified to the state meet as the #5 seed, and dominated #4 Central Springs 21-5 to advance to the semifinals where they gave #1 seed and eventual state champion Waverly Shell Rock a tough test but fell 24-14 to end their tournament run.
