The expansion at The Cottages in Pella will open soon. Executive Director of Hearthstone Nancy Hamilton says they will have upwards of 18 spots for residents that will be available for various senior living options by next month. Hamilton says the expansion of the facility is for long-term care and possible skilled nursing needs, and they can continue to add more spots as they hire more staff. On Friday, November 4th, a ribbon cutting will be held at 1 p.m. and an open house will follow for tours from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at their location off of north Main Street in Pella.
