A Pella man faces multiple felony charges for incidents in Jasper County and Grinnell.

According to the Grinnell Police Department, Brian Owen Berry, 45, of Pella, was arrested and charged with 2nd degree burglary, a class C felony, eluding, a class D felony, criminal mischief, reckless driving, and other simple misdemeanors.

Grinnell officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Washington Ave on Monday for a report of a possible home invasion in progress. Police say Berry attempted to flee the area in a silver Chevy Malibu, and led police on a chase west on Interstate 80 to the Kellogg exit — and police say speeds approached 120 MPH. Pursuing officers were able to block Berry and force him to stop in Jasper County.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
