Two Pella volleyball players were recognized among the best in Iowa for their work in the classroom.

Jasmine Namminga and Katie Pollock were both selected as Academic All-State players by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.

To be nominated, an athlete must have a GPA of 3.75 or higher and a minimum ACT score of 27 or better.
