It was a long journey back to the court to compete for a former Pella volleyball player, but that patience paid off in a successful 2022 campaign in college.

Jenna Schulte was named 2nd team All-Conference for the Central Missouri Jennies in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, which features NCAA Division II teams.

Schulte has spent most of her first full season playing at the collegiate level near the top of all NCAA DII athletes in blocks. Jenna ranks 13th in the nation with 1.2 blocks per set. Schulte missed three seasons due to injury before finally suiting up this August.

Jenna was a three-year varsity player for the Dutch, playing on three state tournament teams from 2016 to 2018 and collecting 155 blocks during that time, ranking 8th in Pella program history prior to 2022.

The Jennies are in action in the MIAA volleyball tournament this weekend, starting today against Pittsburg State.
