Two seniors will depart the Melcher-Dallas Volleyball program this year. Kasyn Reed and Summer Karpan were the two seniors on this season’s squad that went 5-17 this fall. Coach Jesyka Nolte tells KNIA Sports both were important to the program and both had their unique talents that set them apart.

Nolte: “Kasyn knows the court very well and she knows where to be. Summer is a quiet girl and she just knows where to be as well, and we won several games with her serving. Summer and Kasyn will be missed next year.”

Karpan had one of the top serving efficiencies at 96% this year and was 2nd on the team with 117 digs. Reed led the team with 130 assists, and was 3rd on the team in digs with 114.
