Due to technical difficulties, Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate ordered a full recount of Warren County ballots along with Des Moines county in the southeast after results on Tuesday were delayed.
The recount took place Thursday, after approval from the Warren County Board of Supervisors approved the recount in an emergency session Wednesday. According to Warren County Auditor Traci Vanderlinden, human error regarding the drive connected to the voting machines caused the need for a recount.
Iowa Legislature offices, including voters in Marion County which is 100% reporting, includes:

Democrat Lisa Fleishman – 10,508
Iowa House District 21
Republican Incumbent Brooke Boden – 7,892
Democrat Joe Kerner – 4,816
Iowa House District 22

Warren County offices included two seats on the Board of Supervisors in addition to other county offices. Results as of Wednesday include:

Voters also approved a measure to expand the Warren County Board of Supervisors from three to five by an overwhelming majority.

The change will go into effect beginning in 2025. All results are unofficial until the canvass is approved by the Warren County Board of Supervisors.
