he Knoxville City Council discussed a second consideration on an ordinance amending the code pertaining to vacant buildings pertaining to building permits and inspections.

Knoxville City Manager Heather Ussery, tells KNIA/KRLS News, “In January the city passed an ordinance for vacant buildings on commercial and industrial buildings. Recently staff brought forward to add residential to that ordinance.”

This was the second consideration that was approved. The board will have one more consideration before it is adopted.
