With the cold winter weather here and winter precipitation in the near future, Warren County Emergency Management wants to remind residents to be as prepared as possible to stay safe during a winter event. Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator Troy Bass tells KNIA News if you are stuck in your car or forced to pull over during a snowstorm/blizzard event, you should keep a window cracked open and your exhaust tailpipe clear to make sure you are breathing safely. Bass also suggests keeping warm weather clothes such as a hat, gloves, or boots in your car, as well as a blanket.
