THRIVE Knoxville, in partnership with the Marion County Historical Society, are pleased to announce Merry-N County Christmas, a lighted holiday display through Marion County Park, is returning

This year the event will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6-8 pm and will run today, November 18, through Saturday December 24. Event admission will be a free will donation, with the money going to help cover operating costs as well as benefit the Marion County Historical Society and THRIVE Knoxville.

Tyler Christian tells KNIA/KRLS News that THRIVE is a non-profit that promotes positive things going on in the community. The Marion County Historical Society and Historical Village have joined forces in the third year of the event. The Historical Village includes the eight buildings at the park, along with the museum, according to Dan Carlson.

The Merry-N County Christmas route has expanded through the Marion County Park campground this year due to increased displays, so visitors will be seeing a lot of changes.

While touring the park, tune in to 95.3 FM KNIA to enjoy Christmas music.
