Senate Majority Leader Jack Whitver, R-Grimes, announced the Iowa Senate committee chairs for the 90th General Assembly.

District 19 State Senator Ken Rozenboom will serve as the chair of the education committee. The Pella Community School District has had leadership from both the Senate and House serve as the education committee chairs, including new Senate President Amy Sinclair and former Representative Dustin Hite.

Rozenboom has served on the Iowa Senate Education Committee since 2017.

The 2023 legislative session begins on January 9th.
