The KNIA/KRLS Christmas Food Drive is ongoing throughout the holiday season, and the annual partnership with Hy-Vee has already meant big donations to local food shelves. On Tuesday, the Pella Hy-Vee used funds raised this past weekend in partnership with the radio station to make a $1,000 drop-off to the Pella Community Food Shelf — matching the funds raised at the register in the Knoxville Hy-Vee as well. District Store Director DeWayne McIntyre is thankful for the partnership and the opportunity to impact local hunger with Food Drive Fridays and other regular holiday season events with KNIA/KRLS.
