Christmas is in full swing at the Pella Opera House. Events Coordinator Jara Johnson says the Festival of Trees is now open, and as visitors drop by, they can consider bids on items at http://bidpal.net/22fot. The silent auction continues through 4 pm on Dec. 3 This year, they are adding the Merry Martini Huis on Dec. 1, 2 & 3. Following the festival, Johnson says they will present a concert titled Jamie O’Neal: Spirit and Joy Christmas concert, which includes a pre-show meal, on Dec. 10. That’s followed by a Timeless Movie, “White Christmas” on Dec. 15. The season wraps up for the Pella Opera House on Dec. 17 with the annual Pajamas and Pancakes events for kids, parents, grandparents and more. The traditional Davis Folkerts and Friends holiday concert has been canceled this year due to needed repairs to the Barton Theatre Organ.
