The City of Pella will be filled with visitors enjoying several holiday-related activities over the next several days, and with many residents also turning out, the Pella Police Department reminds everyone to use caution due to increased foot and car traffic.

Captain Paul Haase says to take an extra second or two to check for pedestrians in the downtown area, and to expect delays on many roads for the Tour of Homes and horse-drawn carriage rides as well.

He hopes everyone enjoys the Christmas season responsibly as well, and those who plan to drink alcohol should make a plan to get a ride and to avoid operating vehicles while intoxicated.
