The Simpson College men’s wrestling team defeated Augustana 25-12 Thursday night.

Dylan McChesney at 125lbs and Riley Kovaleski at 157lbs had wins by fall for the Storm, while Zach Stewart at 149lbs recorded a major decision. McChesney gave Simpson a 6-0 lead 90 seconds into the dual as he pinned Jack Reina in 1:30. Augustana claimed back-to-back decisions to tie the dual but never took the lead as Stewart put Simpson back in front for good with his 8-0 major decision. The Storm will make their way to Storm Lake for the Buena Vista Open tomorrow.
